In January 2025, we began building our bungalows on our own beautiful piece of land in the heart of Lombok. Our goal was to create a place that offers not just accommodation, but a true experience in harmony with nature. Each of our building projects is inspired by nature and based on traditional Indonesian construction techniques — a fusion of local craftsmanship and modern, sustainable design.
The collaboration with the locals has not only been important to us, but absolutely essential. Without the knowledge, experience, and creativity of the local craftsmen and experts, it would have been impossible for us to create this special place. Through close cooperation, we gained deep insights into traditional building techniques and Indonesian architectural culture. This knowledge opened up countless opportunities for us to develop our ideas while staying authentic and in harmony with our surroundings.
We are proud to work alongside such talented people and would like to take this moment to express how deeply impressed we are by their craftsmanship and dedication. Their traditional techniques, instinct for natural materials, and understanding of sustainable construction have played a vital role in making our bungalows as unique as they are today.
Each building was created with great love and deep respect for the local nature and the people who live here. Our architecture reflects the diversity of the region — from natural materials to authentic Indonesian design elements. Without the expertise of the local community, what we have today would not have been possible in this way.

What does “Beda Gaya” mean?
The name of our resort, Beda Gaya, comes from the Indonesian language and translates to “different styles.” And that’s exactly what our concept represents: diversity, individuality, and an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship combined with modern, sustainable elements.
Each of our bungalows is uniquely designed — shaped by various architectural influences and inspired by the traditional building techniques of the region. This creates a place where nature, culture, and personality come together, and where every guest can find their very own favorite spot.
